As can be seen on our earthquake map and the map set up to monitor the Altarock operation by Lawrence Berkeley Labs, there is a tiny (M0) earthquake very near the injection well a few km from Newberry Volcano, likely caused by the water injection.  This kind of small earthquake was expected, and there may be many more.  A description of the geothermal energy project may be found here.
